      WWII Aircraft Carriers

We have provided structural steel components and erection services for building construction across Colorado and the Midwest since WWII.  Midwest was a supplier of component parts for Victory ships and likely destroyers and destroyer escorts during WWII for Todd Pacific.  More information about ships built at the time can be found via the following link: http://www.shipbuildinghistory. com.

      Royal gorge bridge

Midwest was also a contributor to one of the landmarks of Colorado, the Royal Gorge Bridge when it was approved for construction in 1929.  We are happy to be able to say that we supplied steel for what is still the largest suspension bridge built over water in the world.
